Every engine deserves the opportunity to open up a little bit and show off its sonic prowess. Especially rugged vehicles such as the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. Well, the new Jeep Wrangler is in luck as Borla has developed an exhaust system that can now be purchased by owners.
Actually, there are three options owners can choose from. As you can probably guess each offer a different sound level that will be reflected in the price. The three sounds options for the vehicle include: Touring (Part# 11955), S-type (Part# 11956) and Atak (Part# 11957). For all three options you can either choose from two T-304 stainless steel options – brushed silver or satin black. Tough choice because both look pretty sleek in our opinion.
The video posted above shows a sound comparison of all three options as well as the stock sound. For each option Borla gives us a couple of revs, a take-off, and what it sounds like inside and outside the vehicle while getting up to speed. As they start from stock and work their way up to the Atak option, a slight increase in rasp can be noticed between each option. When comparing the stock sounds to the top option, the Atak, a huge difference can be noticed. If you’re truly interested, you may as well go all-in.
Borla proudly reports that the exhaust systems heard in the video produce zero drone in any gear, speed or rpm – a rare find when it comes to aftermarket exhaust systems. The company would also like you to know there products are made in the USA and is backed by their million mile warranty. Check out the video for yourself and you decide if Borla did a good deed for 2018 Jeep Wrangler owners.
