At the 2018 New York International Auto Show, Fiat Chrysler’s sporty Alfa Romeo brand unveiled a new “Nero Edizione” package for the Giulia sedan and Stelvio crossover, giving each model a flashy new exterior appearance through special blacked-out wheels, badging, and other touches. The Nero Edizione package is reserved for the 280-horsepower, 2.0-liter models of the Giulia and Stelvio – no availability on the range-topping Quadrifoglio – and will leave the potent four-cylinder untouched.
The Nero Edizione package is distinguished by its “Dark Miron” mirror caps, “V Scudetto” grille surround, and wheels – 20-inchers on the Stelvio, and 19-inch units on the Giulia. Further drenching both vehicles in black is a set of dark headlamp bezels, and the Stelvio Nero Edizione also gets gloss black roof rails and a Dark Miron rear fascia appliqué. Window surrounds on both the Giulia and Stelvio Nero Edizone are gloss black, and both get monotone wheel caps with the Alfa Romeo logo, special Dark Miron exterior badging, and painted brake calipers available in black, red, or yellow.
Available dark exhaust tips will be brought out sometime after the package’s introduction, Alfa Romeo says.
Right now, pricing and availability for the blacked-out Giulia and Stelvio Nero Ediziones aren’t known, but the package will likely launch for the 2019 model year, according to a spokesperson.
