Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Jeep and RAM brands both have reveals planned for next month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit, with RAM slated to debut the brand-new, 2019 RAM 1500 pickup truck on Monday, January 15th, and Jeep planning to unveil a refreshed, 2019 Cherokee the following day. We got our first look at the restyled Jeep Cherokee, which will do away with the current model’s questionable bug face, earlier today. The styling of the all-new RAM is still a mystery, although numerous prototypes have been spied testing.
Sergio Marchionne confirmed the 2018 North American International Auto Show as the venue for the 2019 RAM 1500’s official debut in an interview with Motor Trend back in August, and the truck brand now has a press conference scheduled for 9:05 am on the first full press day at the event. FCA announced just today that the newly-revised Jeep Cherokee would be unveiled in earnest the following day. That press conference is scheduled for 8:00 am on the 16th.
The truck competition will be fierce at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, with General Motors confirming that the venue has also been chosen for the full reveal of the all-new, 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, and Ford possibly planning to show off its new Ranger mid-size truck there. Tune in on January 15th and 16th for the full scoop on Fiat Chrysler’s 2018 North American International Auto Show.
