The Safari-inspired Jeep Wrangler Switchback was voted Hottest 4×4 SUV at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, which concluded last week. The Mopar accessories along with the other upgrades and cutaway design seemed to win the judges over.
Some of the OEM upgrades include Jeep Performance fenders, hinge reinforcements, tire carrier, Mopar black fuel door and tail lamp guards, and a Rubicon grille and winch. There are also the concept 17-inch alloy wheels tie, which have grown on us since we first saw them.
But SEMA’s all about the aftermarket parts, and the Jeep Wrangler Switchback has been outfitted with a host of chassis upgrades, including Dana 44 axles, a 4-inch lift with Remote Reservoir Fox shocks and heavy-duty cast differential covers, and to top it off a massive LED off-road windshield light bar.
The Switchback was first unveiled back in March, just before Jeep unveiled the 2017 Easter Jeep Safari, and is the third Wrangler to win the award in the last five years.
