The 2018 Jeep Wrangler has had more leaks than neglected 20-year-old coolant hoses, but its official unveiling at the upcoming 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month is still highly anticipated. And to capitalize on the excitement, Jeep has put out this 30-second hype video of sorts.
Titled “Where It Started,” the short clip touches on the history of the American brand, and appeals to a sense of patriotism and tradition, with phrases such as, “America is where legends are born,” and “we shall embrace history,” then it to cuts to these random, pretty-sounding words: promise, respect, and inspire. We appreciate the artistic detail of the famed Jeep face image, which is illustrated by the orientation of the words and two circles on either side. The video then closes with “November 29,” which is the set date for the aforementioned unveiling.
The video conveys a powerful sentiment, and one that’ll likely fuel the motives of those who are proud to own and support a domestic brand. Click play to see the short clip for yourself.
