This recent episode of House of Muscle gives us a flashback to Roadkill Nights as host Mike Musto makes his way to the event in a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody. There, he will eventually race the crew from the popular YouTube show in an eighth-mile race on Woodward Avenue. But he takes the long way. A very long way.
The cross-country road trip starts with the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Arizona. Mike works with Assistant Instructor Danny Bullock to develop his drag racing skills in the 2018 Hellcat Widebody and to avoid being embarrassed by the Roadkill crew.
After a few pulls down the quarter-mile, Mike and the gang head to their next destination 1,100 miles away: the Lone Star Motorsports Park, next to the Hennessey Performance Engineering headquarters just outside Houston, Texas. Here Mike speaks to folks from the Viper Exchange and learns more about the backstory of the Dodge Viper GTS-R model. After the chit-chat, Musto takes another crack at launching the 2018 Hellcat Widebody down the thirteen-twenty.
With more experience under his belt and a brief stint in New Orleans, Musto and company finally found themselves at the Roadkill Nights event in Pontiac, Michigan. We won’t spoil it for you, so hit play on the embedded for the full Roadkill Nights recap by House of Muscle, and see if all of Musto’s preparation pays off.
