Ringbrothers never disappoints with its well-crafted, custom-car builds. For the 2017 SEMA Show, it will tackle to brands it’s never worked with before: AMC and Dodge. Foremost, the custom-car builder will debut a Hellcat-powered 1972 AMC Javelin and a 1969 Dodge Charger.
The Javelin will surely be a crowd pleaser. Why? Ringbrothers stuffed a 1,000-plus horsepower 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 engine under the hood. The additional power comes from a 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger, and the company used extensive amounts of carbon fiber to keep weight down.
The company calls its AMC Javelin build “Defiant!” and says the car features a BASF Glasurit Waterborne paint job named “Jalop Gold.” We don’t have official pictures, but from the teaser image, the AMC Javelin looks low, chopped and mighty aggressive.
As for its other Mopar-related debut, the 1969 Dodge Charger, named “Defector” will boast a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine and Ringbrothers poured over 4,000 hours of work in the custom body.
Both cars will make their debuts at the 2017 SEMA Show, which opens on October 31, 2017.
