The photos and details come from the 2018 Jeep Wrangler’s owner’s manual. We have every reason to believe the information and photo are legitimate since the owner’s manual document is hundreds of pages long. Foremost, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler boasts the evolutionary design we expected and doesn’t deviate too much from the JK Wrangler. But, don’t mess with success, as they say.
The owner’s manual confirms the existence of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for the 2018 Wrangler, which will join the 3.6-liter V6 engine. The V6 will likely be identical to the current JK Wrangler’s unit. Aside from this information, the manual also confirms a fixed, power-sliding roof options among the various fixtures available and full-time four-wheel drive will be available on various models.
We expect the 2018 Wrangler to debut next month at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show and previous reports indicate production will begin at the Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant the same month.
