You may have never heard of Rezvani, but you may want to get to know the California-based car company. It’s pumped out a handful of high-performance sports cars in the past, but it’s tackled the SUV segment with this beast: the Rezvani Tank.
As the name implies, it has military-like aspirations. At its core, it’s a Jeep Wrangler, but Rezvani has worked over the off-road SUV to create a posh, yet capable, SUV. Suicide doors replace the traditional units, and the company spruced up the interior with higher-quality materials. The real goodies come with the Rezvani Tank’s military specs.
The SUV boasts B6 glass, Kevlar body panels, and a Kevlar fuel tank as upgrades available in its armor protection package—just in case you take the Rezvani Tank to war zones. In the event a quick getaway is warranted, the Rezvani Tanks features Fiat Chrysler’s 6.4-liter V8 engine under the hood. Yes, it’s the same engine found in regular SRT products without the Hellcat badge, but it still makes 500 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
Entry-level Rezvani Tank SUVs will feature FCA’s 3.6-liter V6 engine, but the company didn’t provide power figures.
As for its off-road capabilities, Rezvani hasn’t detailed them yet but noted two off-road packages will be available. Those interested can place a $1,000 deposit for their own Rezvani Tank and deliveries are expected to commence by the end of this year.
