It may seem self-evident that super-valuable, low-slung, exotic supercars have absolutely no place leaving the pavement for even the briefest of off-road excursions. It’s an axiom that humankind has generally been pretty good about observing in the past, but of course, there’s a first time for everything.
Truly, everything; the video below, published to Instagram by “carpicseurope“, depicts a pack of legendary supercars with no trail-running aspirations whatsoever playing around in the dirt, grass, and mud. Notably, the pack includes a Ferrari LaFerrari – the Maranello carmaker’s unfathomably-costly, limited-run hybrid supercar concocted to contend with the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1.
Beside that car, there was also a Lamborghini Countach, Lamborghini Miura, Bugatti EB110, and a Bugatti Veyron. The Drive estimates that the total value of the cars present was likely around $8 million. The repair bill if any one of them had, say, power-oversteered into a tree? We don’t want to think about it.
If you don’t mind seeing the super-expensive Ferrari LaFerrari or a few of its cousins from Italy and France getting a tad muddy, go ahead and watch the video below. We’d issue the standard “don’t try this at home,” but if you can afford any one of these cars, chances are you can afford the risk.
