Auto Guide recently came up with a Top 10 Cheapest Cars With 500 Horsepower list, and it just so happens that four FCA-built vehicles made the cut. The honorable mentions went to the Dodge Viper, Charger Hellcat, Challenger Hellcat, and Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde.
For those who may not know (or have forgotten), we’ve taken the liberty of listing the outputs of each the aforementioned vehicles below:
- Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde – 505 hp / 443 lb-ft of torque
- Dodge Viper – 645 hp / 600 lb-ft of torque
- Dodge Charger/Challenger Hellcat – 707 hp / 650 lb-ft of torque
The Challenger and Charger placed third and fourth, respectively, while the Giulia Quadrifoglio took fifth and the Viper took tenth. Topping the list was the Ford Mustang GT350, followed by the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in second.
It’s worth noting that the most expensive out of this bunch is the Viper, which has an MSRP of just under $88,000, while the cheapest option would be the Camaro at nearly $62,000. Obviously these cars aren’t “cheap” in the traditional sense, but they are certainly cheaper than other performance cars with similar capabilities.
