We know the 2018 Jeep Wrangler’s debut is imminent, thanks to a handy flowchart showing Jeep and Ram debuts and production. However, JL Wrangler Forums published what it claims is the off-road SUV’s order guide. Additionally, dealerships can now order the 2018 Wrangler.
Ordering is officially open for the four-door variant of Wrangler, the Wrangler Unlimited, and the order guide shows limited options and colors at production start. Specifically, as the enthusiast forum previously reported, the 3.6-liter V6 engine will be the only engine option and paired with either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. The rumored 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and diesel mill will likely arrive later next year.
Colors available at launch will reportedly span Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, Firecracker Red, and Granite Crystal.
According to FCA, production of the 2018 Wrangler will begin this year at the Toledo, Ohio, assembly plant. However, the Wrangler SUV will shift from the South facility to the North facility. Why? The North facility will retool and gear up for the upcoming Jeep Wrangler-based pickup truck.
