We’ve seen some off-roaders and rock-crawlers fearlessly take on life-threatening challenges before, but none were as impressive as this custom Jeep Wrangler JK by Agility Customs, which defied physics during the Chute obstacle at Sand Hollow State Park in Utah.
The Jeep is nearly vertical when the video starts, and we were so sure that something bad was about to happen, but to our surprise the rear-steering Jeep Wrangler crawled down the rocks with ease. In addition to the rear-steer components, Agility Customs also fitted this Wrangler JK with 1-ton axles, 20-inch wheels wrapped in 40-inch rubber, and a double-triangulated four-link suspension with coilovers. The shop also made a few cosmetic changes, such as swapping the front fascia from a ’60s Kaiser Jeep M715, which gave it a tough, rugged look.
Hit play to see what’s probably the world’s first street-legal rear-steer Jeep Wrangler JK in action for yourself.
