What’s Ferrari to do about Mercedes-Benz rolling out its AMG Project One hypercar? Begin placing Ferrari FXX K Evo prototypes in the wild.
New video shows what is likely a Ferrari FXX K Evo, its LaFerrari-based test bed for future technologies and engineering. The video shows clear modifications to the body of the car over the regular FXX K, though it’s covered in camouflage to disguise things. The video seems to show a different rear diffuser and vents below the taillights as well.
It’s unclear if powertrain improvements are present, but the FXX K is already plenty powerful. It uses the LaFerrari’s 6.2-liter V12-based hybrid system but makes 85 more horsepower than the LaFerrari for a total of 1,035 hp. Ferrari has hinted it’s interested in building an even faster FXX K in the past, which means we may see more power after all.
We’ll likely see more of this Ferrari FXX K Evo in the coming weeks, but check it out in the video above.
