As you can see, not a single Ram truck made the cut, nor did the 2018 Dodge Demon. Unfortunately the Demon was deemed ineligible as it is “not sufficiently altered to meet NACTOY’s criteria as a separate model.” Sorry Dodge Demon fans, it looks like the refined engineering that went into developing the souped-up Challenger was insufficient. That said, we can’t bring ourselves to agree with NACTOY’s position. The 840-horsepower superbeast is extensively different from lesser Challengers.
And not a single Detroit-based automaker was nominated for Car of the Year; a first in NACTOY’s 25-year history. That said, FCA can still enjoy a victory should the Giulia receive such honors, and we believe the Quadirfoglio gives the nameplate a fighting chance, don’t you?
