Ferrari is slated to build one final LaFerrari Aperta, which will cap production at 210 units. This special LaFerrari Aperta will flaunt exclusive livery, and will be auctioned of by RM Sotheby’s on September 9th as part of the Leggenda E Passione sale, with all proceeds (from the Aperta sale) going to an undisclosed charity.
The 210th LaFerrari Aperta has an estimated value of 3 to 4 million euros, which equates to roughly 3.5 to 4.7 million dollars. That said, this being the final Aperta means the car has the potential to sell for much more. Take the 500th LaFerrari for instance, when this final coupe was built it sold for 7 million dollars, and it became the most expensive 21st century car ever sold. The large sum of money benefited the National Italian American Foundation’s Earthquake Relief Fund.
The value of the LaFerrari Aperta might be off-putting for some, but one has to remember that this is the pinnacle of today’s automotive technology. The LaFerrari excels in both form and function, with the exterior being a work of art and the hybrid V12 powertrain putting out a massive 963 horsepower and over 660 pound-feet of torque, which is enough to get the car up to 62 miles per hour in less than 3 seconds.
It will be interesting to see how much the LaFerrari Aperta actually sells for. If we had to guess we’d say it’ll easily fetch at least 5 million dollars. Go ahead and give us your best guess in the comment section below.
