Chrysler has a shiny-new fleet of Pacifica Hybrid minivans ready to shuttle the kiddos to school. Thanks to its latest partnership with Kango, the kids will not only be in safe hands, but they’ll be shuttled with great efficiency.
Kango is a family ride-share service that provides parents a safe and reliable transportation option to ensure kids have a ride to and from school. In a first-of-its-kind partnership, Chrysler will provide Pacifica Hybrids to Kango drivers for affordable lease rates to ensure youngsters have a best-in-class experience.
“Parents and children today are busier than ever and often need to be in multiple places at one time. The Chrysler brand is focused on providing transportation solutions for families to make their lives easier,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America.
The Pacifica Hybrid was an obvious choice for the partnership; Kango can pick up neighboring kids and bring them to school in the morning and pick up several kids from an after-school activity and drop them off at their homes. Cargo space, entertainment and safety are a few areas where the minivan excels.
The service will begin this coming fall in San Francisco with Kango. Drivers employed by the service are Trustline-certified, fingerprinted, background checked, DMV record-checked and screened in person.
