Unfortunately Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will have to minimize its presence at the Woodward Dream Cruise this year, but the automaker has announced that Roadkill Nights Powered By Dodge is set to return on August 12th. Yay!
While we’re on that topic, we figured it would be a good time to revisit the original event that was held in the cracked parking lot of the blighted Pontiac Silverdome. Back in 2015, Roadkill Nights Powered By Dodge demonstrated a three-way, tug-of-war stunt between a Dodge Viper, a Charger Hellcat, and a Challenger Hellcat, resulting in a delightfully patriotic smoke show of red, white, and blue. We’re not sure if we’ll get to see another stunt like this one, but that’s ok, we’re just eager to see the Demon raise some hell this year.
The 2015 event attracted more than 30,000 performance enthusiasts, and FCA hopes it’ll have even greater success next month when it kicks-off Detroit’s annual cruise week, leading up to the Woodward Dream Cruise on the 19th. Like last year, the event will take place at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Mich.
For now, you can sit back and soak in the Roadkill Nights excitement by watching this less-than-a-minute-long video.
