The Fiat Chrysler Authority Take
The only connection we can make to this filing is the Chrysler Atlantic concept that shocked the world upon its debut in 1995. Inspired by the Bugatti Type 57S Atlantique (or Atlantic) as well as the Talbot-Lago T150 SS Coupe, the front-engined, rear-drive retro concept was a fusion of style and demonstrated pure opulence. Though it never made it to production, the Atlantic was one of Chrysler’s most popular concept vehicles that has proven popular enough to still be shown at an various events.
That said, we doubt that this filing has anything to do with a vehicle like the Atlantic concept, and it’s likely that FCA has other plans for the Atlantic name that are not as
opulent exciting… though we don’t know what they are just yet. So stay tuned to Fiat Chrysler Authority as we dig deep to find out, while bringing you more of the latest Fiat Chrysler news.
