This is Dean Karnage Kearney’s fifth season drifting this 1,150 horsepower Dodge Viper. As he points out in the video, not many have had much success in a Dodge Viper, save for the winner of the 2004 and 2006 Formula D championships, Samuel Hubinette.
Kearney started driving with Hubinette back in 2011, and that’s when he discovered that, although the Dodge Viper is a difficult car to maneuver, it’s one of the most rewarding when you get it right. Over the past couple of years Kearney and his team have managed to put together a car that he believes is a top 10 competitor. With a fully built, supercharged V10 on nitrous, we wouldn’t doubt it.
Kearney admits that he’s usually longing for more power when he’s on the track, but after driving the vehicle without his helmet and HANS device on, he realized just how terrifying quick this Dodge Viper really is. And with that said, we’ll let you go ahead and click play to see it for yourself.
