The 2018 Dodge Durango SRT debuted earlier this year as the most insane way to take the kids to school. But, for those who want just a little more show without all of the go (but why wouldn’t you want all of the go?), there’s the 2018 Dodge Durango R/T.
The 2018 Dodge Durango R/T now features the same front clip as its more powerful brethren. It includes the performance SRT hood with scoop and vents, LED fog lights and lower valence that houses a new cold-air duct system. For those who really want the Durango SRT but can’t pull the trigger for whatever reason, the 2018 Dodge Durango R/T will also be available in the SRT’s bright, brash B5 Blue.
And still, if the 2018 Durango R/T won’t do, not to worry—the 2018 Dodge Durango Blacktop and Brass Monkey appearance packages will now also offer the SRT performance hood as an option. There’s a little bit of SRT for everyone.
While it doesn’t have much to do with performance, the 2018 Durango R/T also now features front park assist as a standard feature. 2018 Durango GT models gain a standard power liftgate and Capri and suede bucket leather seats. Every and all new, 2018 Durango models will now feature a sport steering wheel a “driver-oriented” electronic T-shifter.
Order books for the 2018 Durango range are now open, but Dodge is holding off on a price announcement for a later date.
