Yesterday we shared with out Fiat Chrysler and Dodge’s new ad entitled ‘Rally Cry’ featuring Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel. The ad is apart of a marketing campaign from Dodge entitled ‘The Brotherhood of Muscle’ that will prominently feature Vin Diesel and SRT vehicles and comes following the debut of The Fate of the Furious’ movie earlier this month.
“Vin Diesel is the ideal partner to drive Dodge’s new campaign, ‘The Brotherhood of Muscle,’” said FCA’s chief marketing officer Olivier Francois. “Both Dodge and Vin have large, extremely loyal fan bases that are passionate about high-performance vehicles, family and pride. It’s a natural fit that builds on the strengths of both of us.”
Diesel is a perfect fit for Dodge’s latest ad campaign. Not only is Diesel strongly associated with performance cars due to his recurring roles in the Fast and Furious movies, he has a genuine, deeply rooted passion for Dodge and muscle cars in general.
“Ever since ‘The Fast and the Furious’ began, my favorite has been the 1970 Dodge Charger,” Diesel said. “As Dodge is a partner in making the ‘Fast & Furious’ films, I’ve gotten to know what they stand for … as well as their passion for creating high-performance cars like the Hellcats and the Demon. They’re bringing muscle back the right way and these are my kind of cars.”
The first three ads, entitled Rally Cry, Shepherds and Monsters, are embedded below. They will air on television this week and will by syndicated on prime time television and during sports and NASCAR coverage.
