The upcoming Jeep pickup truck, which should arrive sometime in 2019, will only be available as a four-door crew cab. But if you’re itching to get behind the wheel of a four-door Jeep pickup truck right now, we suggest you turn your attention to this oddball 1998 Jeep Comanche crew cab custom currently for sale on eBay.
The four-door Jeep truck was built by Hill City Hot Rods in Lynchburg, Virginia and was completed in 2000. The seller says it was built to look as if it were from the factory and they’ve done a great job; apart from some mildly awkward dimensions, this looks like a true Jeep product. The stock 4.0-liter inline-six remains under the hood and is hooked up to a good ol’ five-speed manual transmission.
The shop has owned the Jeep for 17 years and says it was always stored inside and used a show truck only.
The bed has never hauled anything more than a cooler and a couple of lawn chairs and the truck shows just 31,000 miles on the odometer. Most Jeeps lead tough lives, but this Comanche four-door has been babied since it left the dealer in the late 1990s.
As of this writing, there’s 52 bids on the truck with a high offer of $12,100. Check out the listing at this link for additional information and photos.
