We imagine one of the first things many new owners of Challenger SRTs do when they buy their muscle car is buy an aftermarket exhaust kit for it. The 6.4-liter HEMI V8-equipped Challenger SRT is a loud vehicle from the factory when in performance-oriented ‘SRT’ mode, but thanks to Borla, you can make the vehicle even louder.
Borla offers four different exhaust kits for the Challenger representing varying degrees of aggressiveness. The least aggressive is the ‘Touring’ spec, which is ideal for those looking for a bit more definition from their exhaust system but not much additional volume. The ‘Atak’ kit is for those who want the loudest-possible sound from a road-legal kit, while ‘S-Type’ represents the middle of the ground.
You can hear all three Borla 2016 and 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT exhaust kits in the video above. The clip also features footage of the Borla-equipped Dodge Challenger SRTs driving as they are piloted by Bondurant School of High Performance driving instructors. The Bondurant school has a deal with Dodge to use its Challenger and Charger SRTs for coaching use, along with the Viper ACR, with Borla serving as a sponsor of the cars.
