The new Hot Wheels downloadable expansion pack for Forza Horizon 3 allows players of the game to race their digital automotive creations on an orange, looping Hot Wheels track – but it also allows them to drive the Hellcat-powered Jeep Trailcat.
If you don’t recall the Trailcat, that’s because Jeep only rolled it out as a concept for last year’s MOAB Easter Jeep Safari. The Trailcat, based on the two-door Jeep Wrangler JK, was a raised-up, rock crawling Wrangler with 707 horsepower Hellcat V8 stuffed under its good. The dream Jeep also featured the steering wheel and bucket seats from a Dodge Viper and a six-speed manual transmission.
Apart from the Wrangler Trailcat, the Hot Wheels expansion pack also includes a hoard of exclusive new cars including the Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49, Pagani Huayra and Zenvo ST1, six new islands, new tracks and a new campaign mode. Forza will livestream the introduction of its Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels expansion from its HQ in Los Angeles on May 3rd at 1 p.m. PDT at this link.
