Fiat has introduced new color packages for the 2017 Fiat 500 and Fiat 500 Abarth, giving customers more personalization options when shopping for the stylish minicar.
The new appearance packs include two for the entry-level 500 Pop and one for the performance-oriented 500 Abarth. For the Pop there’s the$1,295 ‘Sport Black Trim’ appearance pack, which adds body-color bumpers, black-trimmed headlamps, a black-painted roof, side-sill ground effects, a black sport spoiler, black taillamps and 16-inch black aluminum wheels.
The second new appearance group for the 500 Pop is the $295 Two-Tone Appearance Package, which allows the buyer to select a contrasting Nero (black), Rosso (red) or Bianco (white) accent roof and matching mirror caps.
For the 500 Abarth there’s the $495 Abarth Roof, Mirror Cap and Body Stripe Appearance Package which, as its name suggests, offers a secondary roof color choice of Nero (black), Rosso (red), Rhino (gray) or Bianco (white) along with a contrasting roof, spoiler, mirror caps and side stripes in black, red, grey or white.
Fiat simplified the 500 lineup for the new model year, with only Pop, Lounge and Abarth models now available. For all trim levels, the only optional extras are an automatic transmission ($995) and a sunroof ($795). All 500 models may be had as a cabriolet model as well for an additional $1,495.
