Fiat Chrysler has launched its first North American marketing campaign for the all-new 2017 Jeep Compass with a 60-second spot entitled ‘Recalculating’.
The Compass ad campaign will span television, print, radio, experiential, digital, in-cinema 3D, social and website channels as part of its launch. FCA says ‘Recalculating’ and other upcoming Compass ads to be launched over the summer will air during popular shows such as Saturday Night Live, Modern Family, Law & Order, The Bachelorette, and Dancing with the Stars, among others.
The 60-second Recalculating ad, which will air on TV in 30-second form in mid-May, highlights a millennial’s journey through life as they change careers, get married, move and enter parenthood. The spot is concluded with a voiceover that proclaims “Whatever the destination, with the right compass as a guide, there are a million beautiful ever-changing ways to get us there.”
“The objective of our ‘Recalculating’ campaign is to establish global relevance for the all-new 2017 Jeep Compass within an extremely competitive CSUV category,” said FCA chief marketing officer Olivier Francois. “We expect its message of life’s journey moving us in many directions to resonate with our millennial audience while staying true to the Jeep brand’s core value of freedom.”
