As you may have predicted, the Force 1 Roadster is basically just a convertible version of the hardtop Force 1 V10. It gets VLF’s own unique exterior styling and retains much of the Viper’s interior – save for some of VLF’s own unique touches such as Alcantara and leather upholstery and an available infotainment system with Wi Fi.
The Force 1 Roadster is powered by the Viper’s 8.4-liter V10 engine, which has been tuned to produce 745 horsepower and 638 lb-ft of torque. The Viper is only available with a six-speed manual transmission, however VLF is offering both a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and the Viper’s six-speed manual with the Force 1. The manufacturer claims a 0-60 mph time of 3.0-seconds flat for the Force 1 Roadster and a top speed of over 200 mph.
Pricing for the soft top Force 1 has yet to be announced, however the coupe version starts at $268,500, so expect the Roadster to cost a slight bit more than that. It’s also not clear when the order books will open, but we’re sure VLF would happy to give you more details if you drop them a line.
