The updated 2018 Maserati Ghibli has been spied testing once again prior to its debut later this year.
The mid-size sedan, which was last spotted testing in mildly facelifted prototype form earlier this year, is expected to receive changed similar to those applied to the the full-size Quattroporte sedan for the 2017 model year. That likely means a reworked front and rear fascias will be in store along with new side skirts, exterior mirrors and redesigned exhaust tips. We’re expecting the interior to remain mostly the same, seeing as Maserati just added its new 8.4-inch UConnect display to the Ghibli for 2017.
The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine should also remain unchanged for 2018. The forced-induction six-cylinder produces 345 horsepower in regular versions of the Ghibli and 404 horsepower in the more performance-minded Ghibli S and is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission in both.
