The U.S. spec Alfa Romeo Stelvio has been outlined ahead of its official North American unveiling at the New York International Auto Show next week.
The Stelvio will be offered in standard trim and Stelvio Ti trim in North America, with both versions receiving power via Alfa’s 280 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The sole transmission option is an eight-speed automatic and Q4 all-wheel drive, capable of sending 100 percent of the vehicle’s power to the rear wheels, is standard on all models.
Offering further customization are the available Sport and Lusso packages. The sport package adds 19-inch wheels to Stelvio models and 20-inch wheels to Stelvio Ti models along with 12-way power high performance seats (which include power bolsters on Stelvio Ti models), paddle shifters, a sport steering wheel, gloss black window trim, black roof rails, aluminum sport pedals and colored brake calipers.
The Lusso package, available on Stelvio Ti models only, adds 12-way power seats with Pieno Fiore Italian leather upholstery, a leather wrapped dash and door trim, accent stiching, genuine wood trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and aluminum pedals. All Stelvio models will also offer a range of safety features including Full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus, Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus, Lane Departure Warning, Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection and more.
Pricing for the 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Stelvio Ti has yet to be announced. Keep an eye out for additional info on the U.S. spec Stelvio following its official debut next week.
