Last night at the New York City debut of the Challenger SRT Demon, Dodge got the crowd warmed up for big reveal by sharing a video Pennzoil had produced starring the last Dodge Viper ACR to roll off the production line.
The video is similar to two previous commercials from Pennzoil that featured a yellow car drifting around a seemingly empty city. Those online spots starred the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and Ferrari 458, respectively, and now they’ve created a similar video starring the Viper ACR.
Pennzoil got their hands on a yellow Viper ACR with black components for the video shoot, hooning it around in sideways, tire-smoking style. The ACR set more lap records for a production car than any other supercar, mostly thanks to the grip afforded by its huge rear wing and Kumho tires, but that doesn’t mean it can’t get a little sideways and have some fun.
Check it out in the video embedded above.
