Last year Jeep declared April 4th as the official ‘Jeep 4×4 Day’ (4/4, get it?). This year to mark the second ever ‘4×4 Day’, Jeep has developed a special interactive Snapchat ‘Jeep Hair, Don’t Care’ Snapchat filter.
In addition the Snapchat filter, Jeep is also promoting the 4×4 lifestyle today with the hashtag #Jeep4x4Day on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The automaker has also aggregated fan content from across various social media platoforms and made a fan-driven montage video entitled “Today Was Made for Adventure” which we’ve embedded above.

The Snapchat filter places users behind the wheel of a Jeep Wrangler and shows their hair blowing in the wind when they raise their eyebrows. The filter will be available to all snapchat users for 24 hours starting on Tuesday, April 4th and will be available to Jeep fans who scan special QR codes at Jeep events across the country through to October.
