The 2018 Dodge Demon has been teased one last time ahead of its reveal in New York City on Tuesday, April 11th.
The latest teaser video for the drag racing-inspired muscle car shows it accelerating hard down a drag strip before a time slip is printed out. We tried to zoom in on the time slip and see the car’s results, but Dodge purposely left it out of focus. It looks as though it’s about a 10-second time, but it’s very hard to say.
We’re wagering the Challenger Hellcat-based Demon will produce 757 horsepower from its supercharged HEMI V8, as every clock shown in the teaser videos has read 7:57 and Dodge’s teaser videos were all released at 7:57 in the morning. With single seat for the driver, stripped out interior, Nitto drag radials and wide rear tires, it would only take an extra 50 horsepower or so to make the Hellcat run low 10s.
Check out the teaser video above before the Demon debuts next week.
