The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is a rear-wheel drive, 505 horsepower car offered at a reasonable sum of $70,000 – allowing just about anyone with a decent paying job to get behind the wheel and find out what a Nurburgring record-breaking sedan is really like to drive. Unfortunately, some of those people will find out that the car is immensely more talented then they are and end up on their roof or in a guardrail.
That’s already happened to one Giulia Quadrifoglio owner, it seems. Salvage car sales website Copart currently has a 2017 Giulia Quadrifoglio listed for sale on its site that was totalled in a rollover accident. The owner really did a number on the poor Alfa and to top it off, they somehow managed to turn it into a complete no-go zone; the secondary reason for salvage is listed as “biohazard.”
It’s sad to see a once great car in such a lousy state, but if there’s one positive aspect to take away from this wreck it’s that the Giulia appears to be a very safe car. Its crash structures remained fully intact and we’re assuming (and hoping) that everyone involved in the wreck escaped serious injury. Check out the listing at this link.
