The very rich and very lucky people that are able to participate in Ferrari’s XX and Corsi Clienti programs recently enjoyed an outing to Italy’s Mugello Circuit, where they were able to put 21st century Ferrari F1 cars through their paces and let their V10 and V8 engines scream.
Ferrari’s Corsi Clienti program allows fans of the brand to purchase ex F1 cars and have the brand service them and ship them to various circuits around the world for exclusive track days. It’s similar to its XX program, which operates the same way but with the limited-edition Ferrari Enzo-based FXX, 599-based 599XX and LaFerrari-based FXXK.
The track day at Mugello, a circuit that is owned by Ferrari and occasionally used by the automaker for testing purposes, saw Corsi Clienti participants hustle early 2000s F1 cars around the circuit such as the legendary F2007 that took Kimi Raikkonen to the F1 championship and the Ross Brawn-designed F2003. We actualyl don’t mind the way today’s V6 F1 cars sound, but after hearing these cars once again, you’ll be yearning for days gone by.
Watch and listen as these legendary pieces of F1 machinery take to the the circuit in the video above.
