Fiat Chrysler has added a new ‘Touring Plus’ trim level to the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica’s portfolio designed to bride the gap between the Touring model and the more lavishly-equipped Touring-L.
The Pacifica Touring Plus offers a power liftgate, three-zone climate control, second- and third-row sunshades and a universal garage door opener as standard. It also gets the premium front fascia from Touring-L, Touring L-Plus and Limited versions of the minivan along with projector headlamps, LED taillamps and fog lamps. Customers who order the optional 18-inch wheels and 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen on the Touring Plus will also receive a single overhead DVD player (a $995 value) at no cost.
“The addition of the new Touring Plus model to the Pacifica lineup builds on this success, delivering another option to meet the needs and price point of more customers,” said Chrysler passenger car brand boss Tim Kuniskis.
The Pacifica’s lineup now consists of six models total: LX, Touring, Touring Plus, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus and Limited. That number grows to seven if you include the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid as well, which is just beginning to arrive at dealers.
The Pacifica Touring Plus starts at $32,360 plus $1,095 in destination. The model is available to order from FCA dealers now.
