The 2017 Pacifica has been named to Autotrader’s ‘Must Test Drive’ list for 2017. The van, which is the newest addition to the minivan segment, was dubbed the “best minivan on the market,” and an “excellent family car,” by Autotrader editors, earning it a spot on the annual listing.
Autotrader said it also likes the Pacifica’s “handsome styling and its prioritization of convenience above virtually all else.” The publication was also keen to point out that the Pacifica doesn’t just drive well – it looks pretty cool too. One editor said it’s “a minivan that your kids will almost not be embarrassed to be seen in.”
Fiat Chrysler this week added a Touring Plus trim level to the Pacifica’s lineup to help cover all bases of the price bracket it competes in and get more customers into the minvan. Pacifica sales haven’t been as strong as FCA may have hoped, and we think a large part of getting consumers to buy the van is to convince them to test drive it. They just might be sold once they realize it drives similar to the front-wheel drive crossovers they love so dearly.
