German tuner Mansory has tuned the Ferrari 488 Spider to an insane 789 horsepower and backed the performance boost up with some insane visual modifications.
Mansory’s 488 Spider, which it has dubbed the ‘4XX Siracusa’ pulls inspiration from Ferrari’s ‘XX’ track-only program and as such features some outlandish yet effective aerodynamic pieces. A new front bumper, a huge rear diffuser and a two-segment rear wing (just like the Ferrari FXX K’s) work together to increase aerodynamic grip and put the boosted 3.9-liter V8 engine’s power to the pavement. Mansory lightweight wheels help reduce unsprung weight and expand on the radical look.
Speaking of the 3.9-liter engine, Mansory tuned it to near-800 horsepower with a revised engine management system and sports exhaust. The 0-62 mph dash has dropped by 0.1-second from stock to 2.9 seconds and while top speed hasn’t been divulged, we imagine the extra 100 horsepower equates to a high top end than Ferrari’s factory rated claim of 205 mph.
The over-the-top treatment continues in the 4XX’s cabin with reupholstered seats with Italian-flag accent stitching and stitching ‘4XX’ logos. Mansory has also redone the steering wheel with some additional padding, a ‘4XX’ center logo and some more Italian flag stitching.
