The Jeep Switchback Concept, unveiled today ahead of the 2017 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, is visually similar to the new Jeep Safari Concept, however the Switchback is much less radical and can be at least partially recreated with Mopar parts.
The standout features of the Switchback is the cutaway doors with some odd center cutouts and the concept safari top with a safari roof rack system. Adding to the rugged Safari-like look are Jeep Performance fenders, hinge reinforcements and tire carrier, Mopar black fuel door and tail lamp guards, and a Rubicon grille and winch.
Chassis upgrades include Dana 44 axles, a 4-inch lift with Remote Reservoir Fox shocks and heavy-duty cast differential covers. Adding to the off-road capability are concept 17-inch alloy wheels shod in 37-inch BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, and a massive concept LED off-road windshield light bar helps out when the going gets dark.
