Jeep has unveiled its concept vehicles for this year’s Moab Easter Jeep Safari and we’ve got a definite favorite of the seven shown: the 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ-based Grand One.
The Grand One is a modern-day take on the classic ZJ and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the car. The exterior is redone in a blue and black satin color scheme and is set off with some 18-inch lace-style Jeep wheels wrapped in rugged BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2 tires. Surprisingly, the vehicle retains its original powertrain, which in this case consists of a 5.2-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
The 90s theme continues in the cabin with reupholstered front bucket seats and rear bench, a durable bed liner in place of the carpets and a car phone. There’s also an 8-track cassette player and a plaid headliner.
