Jeep has shown us how far it could take the idea of an highly off-road capable Compass with the new Compass Trailpass Concept.
The Trailpass Concept is perhaps the most tame of the 2017 Moab Easter Jeep Safari concepts and as a result, we could actually see Jeep putting it into production or making some of the parts pictured available through Mopar.
Apart from the custom hood graphics, side stripes and green exterior color, the Trailpass is differentiated from the Compass Trailhawk on which it’s based by its 1.5-inch lift kit ,18–inch wheels, Continental TerrainContact all-terrain tires and Jeep Performance Parts roof basket, cross rails and rock rails.
The cabin of the concept is adorned with Katzkin leather upholstered seats, green body-color gauge and dial bezel accents and Jeep Performance Parts all-weather floor mats. The powertrain, which consists of a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine and nine-speed automatic transmission, remains stock.
