Fiat Chrysler is trying to attract more millenial buyers to the Fiat 500 with the recently unveiled 500 Mirror special edition.
Fiat says the 500 Mirror is “targeted at the millennials, who love new technologies and want to drive a car that is always connected.” As a result, the centerpiece of this special edition is the 7-inch UConnect HD touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionalities – the first application of the new infotainment system on the 500 range.
Also standard on the 500 Mirror edition are a range of technology-related safety features such as Speed Limiter , Cruise Control and an automatic rain & dusk sensor. Setting it apart from standard 500s cosmetically are chrome-plated, a brushed aluminium “Mirror” badge on the B-pillar and a model-exclusive Italia blue exterior color (pictured). Gelato White, Passione Red, Vesuvio Black and Carrara Grey exterior colors are also available.
The 500 Mirror is available in coupe and cabriolet form and is offered with Fiat’s 1.2-liter or 0.9-liter four-cylinder gas engines and its 1.3-liter MultiAir diesel.
The Fiat 500 Mirror will go on sale in select European markets in early April.
