Even in 707 horsepower Hellcat specification, the Dodge Challenger is only offered with single-exit trapezoidal exhaust tips that, if we’re honest, look a bit pedestrian and don’t do HEMI versions of the muscle car much justice. Now, owners of 2015 and newer model year Challengers are being offered a solution via renowned exhaust supplier Corsa
Corsa has developed a new dual-exit, round tip exhaust system for the Challenger in both ‘Sport’ and loud ‘Xtreme’ configurations. The exhaust kit is available with polished tips or black tips improves the look and sound of the Challenger while also providing it with a little extra performance. According to Corsa, the ‘Xtreme’ cat-back system results in an 81% better flow rate and saves 8 pounds over the stock exhaust system.
You can hear the sound differences between the ‘Xtreme’ and ‘Sport’ exhaust systems in the video embedded above, though it should be noted the demonstration vehicle has square tips rather than the round tips we are referencing here (the sound and performance is the same).
