The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio crossover is just hitting European dealerships now and will soon reach U.S. shores, but only a lucky few have gotten the opportunity to climb behind the wheel. One of those individuals was YouTube’s Marchettino, who filmed a point-of-view video of him driving the all-new Alfa crossover in the Italian alps.
Marchettino got his hands on a 2.0-liter, 280 horsepower version of the Stelvio. It’s no Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but let’s be real, you wouldn’t want to be behind the wheel of a 505 horsepower performance SUV on summer tires in the Alps. That vehicle’s more suited to the Stelvio pass in which the Alfa SUV is named after, if you ask us.
Despite the snowy conditions, Marchettino straps into the Stelvio with confidence and drives it in a fairly spirited manner. Check out the POV video embedded above and get familiar with the Stelvio before it hits U.S. Alfa dealers in a couple months’ time.
