A test mule for all-new 2019 Ram 1500 has been spied testing ahead of a debut that seems likely to happen sometime next year.
Spy images show a a Ram 1500 Quad Cab with the front grille from a Laramie Limited or Longhorn, camouflaged rear side windows and a camouflaged back window. Curiously, the test mule also uses six-lug wheels, a feature that has also been present on other 2019 Ram mules.
A peak inside 2019 Ram 1500 test mules has reportedly revealed the presence of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica’s steering wheel, indicating the Ram will likely receive similar technologies to the well-equipped van when it arrives. This will include infotainment tech and active safety features such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and collision detection/avoidance.
