Dodge’s new 2018 Durango SRT boasts the biggest towing capacity of any three-row SUV on sale today. To mark the introduction of the record-breaking vehicle, Dodge celebrated the only way it knows how: with a burnout.
The 2018 Durango SRT is all-wheel drive, so in order to do a burnout, Dodge had to tether it down in some way. That doesn’t subtract from the awesomeness of the burnout, however. The SUV produces a downright impressive amount of smoke and watching it seep through the functional heat extractors in the hood is oddly satisfying.
Check out the burnout in the video above. Oh, and you probably don’t need us to tell you this, but don’t try and replicate this burnout if you buy a Durango SRT when they hit dealers later this year. You’ll find yourself in the service department of your local Dodge dealer faster than the Durango SRT can sprint from 0-60.
