Ferrari today debuted its challenger for the 2017 Formula 1 season – the SF70H. We think the wider, more aggressive F1 cars look better than last year’s cars and as amateur video of the SF70H undergoing testing at Ferrari’s Fiorano circuit revealed, all signs point to them sounding better, as well.
After Ferrari pulled the sheet from the SF70H this morning, Kimi Raikkonen immediately drove the car out on track and began completing laps on the ‘demo tires’ provided by Pirelli for promotional testing. Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel split the 100 kilometres of distance allowed for the promotional test days before the car was loaded onto a hauler and sent on its way to Spain for officially sanctioned pre-season tests.
Check out the video of Raikkonen testing Ferrari’s latest F1 challenger in the video embedded above. You’ll be able to see the SFH70H race for the first time when the 2017 F1 season kicks off with the Australian Grand Prix from Melbourne on March 26th.
