A Florida man was arrested and charged after stealing a Maserati GranTurismo during a test drive, however the car still hasn’t been recovered.
Accoriding to Boca Raton police, 45-year-old Michael McGilvary II went into an area car dealership and requested to test drive a GranTurismo. A salesman and McGilvary then drove to a marina under the guise that he wanted to show his girlfriend the car before buying it. The two walked down to a dock and McGilvary said he was going to go and grab his girlfriend, but after 30 minutes the salesman realized he wasn’t going to return.
McGilvary was arrested and charged last Wednesday, however the Maserati has still not been located. If we were to take an educated guess, we’d wager it’s already in pieces and being parted out to different repair shops and other shady businesses all over the country. You win some you lose some.
