The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will feature a special ‘Drag Mode’ that together with the muscle car’s all-new suspension will maximize weight transfer, traction and overall vehicle control.
Dodge says the Challenger SRT Demon’s completely revised suspension is comprised of quick-reacting front springs, soft front rebound shocks and high compression rear shocks. This has the effect of providing extremely efficient weight transfer upon acceleration, resulting in better grip.
As for ‘Drag Mode’, Dodge says it will release more information on the electronic vehicle setting in the coming weeks, but ensure us the car will “absolutely dominate,” the quarter-mile when set up to do so. Whereas the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is a true ‘do everything,” muscle car, the Demon will be intently focused on the 1320.
