With the debut of the wheelchair-accessible 2017 Chrysler Pacifica BraunAbility, the Pacifica has been added to Fiat Chrysler’s list of vehicles eligible for its Automobility cash reimbursement.
FCA’s is the first automaker to offer consumers a reimbursement of up to $1,000 for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred adapting their vehicle to transport an individual in a wheelchair or with another form of disability. The addition of the Pacifica makes for a total of 25 FCA US vehicles eligible for the Automobility reimbursement program.
As part of the Pacifica’s addition to Automobility, FCA has also updated its Automobility site to be more user friendly and to include stories from individuals who have had a positive experience with the program.
“At the heart of our new website are five unique stories shared by some extraordinary people on how equipping their vehicle has helped them in their day-to-day lives,” said FCA fleet sales vice president Jeff Kommor. “The new Automobility website provides clear pathways for our customers to determine what adaptive equipment and which vehicle best fit their needs.”
